I’m allergic to gel and am trying out regular glue. The reviews that mention using UV/LED lights for extra efficiency make no sense. This isn’t a gel based product, and it doesn’t have ingredients that require UV light to trigger the chemical reaction that cures it. I wish the ingredients were listed on the product but it’s likely cyanoacrylate. It is more semi-solid than Una Gella and thick enough to not shift unexpectedly. It also will require soaking off in acetone to remove which requires patience. I use lint free nail wipes folded twice, soaked in two pumps of 100% acetone and the plastic nail clips used for gel polish removal. It’s not easy to remove but also not that hard. I can not see this stuff failing on fully well prepped nails, meaning washed hands, buffed surface, dehydration, and a quality primer. That said, reviews that claim nails have held up for weeks but include pictures with no nail growth should be viewed with skepticism. If you have realistic expectations and are ok with redoing your nails every couple of weeks at most with proper prep, this kind of glue will work. I would recommend it over others, because while it’s probably not much different from a cheaper liquidy nail glue, it does seem to be easier to work with and clean up before it sets due to its consistency being similar to a gel semi-solid nail glue.
