This was sort of a last min gift and was very pleased on the fast shipping. As for the item the color and style are exactly as pictured. Not 100% sturdy so if you have a fat cat might want to anchor it, otherwise the size and levels on it was perfect for what it is. Not the fanciest and cat proof as to material so after a while might have to replace the lower carpet parts. Like any cat they do destroy things with their claws, so I guess it is expected on any cat tree item. This cat tree is a gift for our son who has taken up on being a cat owner at his home and that cat sure loves his new play structure. Looking at the picture before buying the item I was not keen on just 2 items as a dangly toy for the cat so bought a bunch of stuff to either be added onto the cat tree and or ???? I Left that choice for our son and his cat to figure out on the extra toy stuff. Now some people might think this structure is not strong enough but honestly it was reasonable for its price and easy to assemble. The cat is a young adult and is a bit active so this structure can handle a cat like that. Again, I would anchor it if you had a huge cat…. I did check it out by wiggling it and such and held up pretty good. If you’re wanting something very solid and can withstand a HUGE active cat or lots of BIG cats, I would suggest something more solid. However, for an average cat or cats I would say get this one. I would honestly buy this item again for the overall value and design.
