I ordered these horseshoe nails for a very different reason. Not to hammer into a horses foot but to hang and display several “lucky” horseshoes in and around my home. Many people do not know this….but displaying horseshoes for “good luck” or “other purposes” requires that the shoes were actually worn by a horse at some point. Not just made on an assembly line and purchased in a retail shop. And that the shoes be mounted firmly to your dwelling or surface using actual horseshoe nails. So for the last 7 years….I’ve kept two horseshoes stored away……just waiting to come by some real horseshoe nails. Now, after all these years…..I can finally display them correctly. These are indeed, hard, sturdy, sharp, durable, and authentic horseshoe nails. There are many other things “esoterically” that can be done with horseshoe nails. I have several projects I’m looking forward to using them on.
