Because life is compiled, 1/2 inch drip line is not actually 1/2inch diameter, and there are actually a few different specific sizes of “1/2″ inch line. Most connectors are ’17mm” connectors that fit the .600 inch “1/2 inch” drip line. My house came with brown rain bird “1/2 inch” drip line that is .540 inch diameter. I think my kind is sometimes referred to as “landscape drip line”, vs agricultural, etc.. Connectors are a lot harder to find for this size. The bigger 17mm connectors will take a ton of force to insert and will likely split the line open and fail, yay! Many advertisers on amazon suggest “universal” sizing and such, knowing you won’t bother to return 10 bucks in plastic parts. I’m happy to go 5stars as these guys tell the truth, are specific about the sizing of their product, and deliver what they specifically say they will. A for honesty, communication, and a quality product. These connectors worked and fit perfectly with my line.
